Sweet Butterfly Card

Hello again!

Seems that Butterflies are my favourite cards to make these days! the other pink butterfly card that I made inspired me to create this one.

I used a bit of glitter tape from American Crafts and the butterfly stamp and die cut are from Hero Arts + Sizzix

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you again soon!

Birthday Cake Card

Hello my friends,

Hows the beginning of summer been treating you?

Today I have created a Birthday Cake card using the "Bake me a Cake" stamp set by Lawn Fawn.  I used my scrap pieces of paper to create the layers on the card.

I officially edited my video of how I created a card very similar to this one. Hopefully by the end of this week I'll be able to get it posted. If not, the second week in July for sure. I'm leaving Saturday for my parents 29th anniversary to L.A!! I'm so excited. This weather we've been having here in B.C just isn't cutting it. Hopefully I'll be able to develop some tan lines ;)

Thanks for joining me today! <3

Another Glitter Birthday Card..

Well crafty friends, its been awhile since I've last blogged. I can't say I am too proud about it. BUT its better than 8 months right? a couple weeks is considered good?

I have a bunch of wonderful cards heading your way. See it seems to be the problem that I wont blog because I am too busy creating. I've said that before huh?....

Well enough with the talk, here is the card!!

Once again I've used double sided 'Be Creative' tape, and used Ultra fine glitter before I coloured the image. I used a Peel-Off sticker for the image. I just love the black outlines that the image has. After I fussy cut the image, I layered it with pop dots and pattern paper :) Jennifer McGuire, used this technique here but instead of using a Peel-Off sticker, she stamped it amazing! I will defiantly try that out next time!

Thanks for stopping by today! I can't wait to see what you can create!

P.S I have recently filmed my first few videos. Hopefully I can get my act together enough to edit them and post them!! :) How exciting!

Spellbinders Tags

Hello Fellow bloggers,

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I know the weather here in B.C was very nice and warm.

Today I have a card for you using Spellbinders Fancy Tags 3. I used the Japanese Kimono sticker and placed it on double sided sticky tape. I then covered the whole thing in glitter and varnished it with my fingers. Using my Copic markers I then shaded the colours and fussy cut around the image.

I made the background using my distress inks and blending tool.

Hope you liked my card!
Thanks for joining me today!

You are my reason why...

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone.

Today I want to share with you a card I made for my sweetie for our 5 year anniversary. Just shortly before our anniversary he proposed to me! eekkkk! How exciting. We have planned our wedding to be in September 21st, 2013. The first day of fall!

I created this card using the Lawn Fawn Chevron background stamp and repeatedly stamped the largest chevron with Hero Arts Shadow Ink - pool. I used a Technique Tuesday stamp and then cut it out using a Spellbinder Fancy Tags Two. I then added a Martha Stewart brown bakers twine, and used her Heart Confetti   punch and scattered the hearts.

Thanks for joining me again today! Keep it classy and keep stamping!

Back to Basic

Sorry I haven't posted.. in what.... almost 7 months. It's not that I'm ignoring you, honestly. I just really dislike updating and writing (I'm not much of a writer). I'd rather play with my new toys anyway. But I promise I will get better. There are a ton of new toys and techniques I want to share with you.

So I received a bunch of new toys from Simon Stamps. I received the Hero Arts Shadow Ink in Mid-Tone set AND Lawn Fawn stamps. I just recently fell in L-O-V-E with Lawn fawn stamps.

Don't my goodies look fantastic? Below is a sample of my colouring with Copic Markers from the Critters Ever After stamp set. I just love how you can mix and match sentiments with the stamps and create a wonderful scenery.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Hope your staying classy and still stamping!
